Express Entry is an electronic candidate selection system used by the Canadian government for immigration to Canada. This system allows the selection of candidates for the following immigration programs:
- The Federal Skilled Worker Class program is designed for professionals with work experience outside of Canada. Candidates must demonstrate their skills, education, and work experience that align with the requirements of the Canadian labor market.
- The Federal Skilled Trades Program is designed for professionals in specific trades. Candidates must have work experience in certain trades and meet the requirements for professional qualifications.
- The Canadian Experience Class program is designed for the immigration of individuals who have work or study experience in Canada. Candidates who have lived and worked in Canada have certain advantages in the selection process.
Each potential immigrant submits their profile into the Express Entry system. Qualifications and experience of candidates are assessed using the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). This system takes into account criteria such as age, education, work experience, proficiency in English or French, and the presence of a job offer in Canada. Candidates with high scores receive invitations to apply (ITA) for permanent resident status.
You can calculate your points on the official
website of the Ministry of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
Express Entry provides a fast and transparent immigration process for highly skilled candidates who wish to start a new life and pursue opportunities in Canada. The program offers a convenient pathway for those interested in economic immigration to one of the most attractive countries in the world.
